A smoothly rolling nine minutes of gradually bubbling bliss, ‘Crystal Clear’ is a tripped out journey through warm bass melody, softly padded mids and tinkling orchestral synths.

‘Crystal Clear’ is a track with a definitive message. With lyrics inspired by the widely publicised corruption in Africa’s diamond and mineral mines, Natamiq’s vocal is crisp and refined, and provides a poignant yet sensual overlay for the track’s tantalizing bass hook. As well as the vox version, an instrumental edit is included, a good option for those with less of a penchant for vocals.

The EP’s B-side, ‘Haiku’ was first featured on respected DJ historian and author, Bill Brewster’s After Dark Nightshift compilation, an offshoot of popular mix and party series, Late Night Tales. A bumping, late-night lounge track complete with a jazz-fusion sax solo, ‘Haiku’ is a testament to Asadinho’s superior production ability.
